Candles. Music. Bubbles. Bliss

Baths are one of the best ways to relax after a long day. With a little bit of magic, a simple bath can be therapeutic and help to restore the mind, body, and soul. Gather some or all of these magic materials and get ready to pamper yourself:


  1. Epsom Salts
    Epsom salts are well known for their healing benefits. Use them in your bath to relax the muscles and restore magnesium to your body. My personal favorite brand of Epsom salts is Dr. Teals, you can find Dr. Teals at any grocery store or drugstore. The brand offers plain bath salts as well as a variety of options with essential oils added. Use the Lavender for relaxation, the Eucalyptus Mint for muscle restoration, and the Chamomile for soothing skin irritation.
  2. Sea Salt
    Use sea salt for cleansing your energy at the end of the day. Sea salt has detoxifying properties that draw out impurities in the energy bodies (or your aura).
  3. Baking Soda
    Baking soda is great for detoxifying the body, add ½ a cup to your bath for extra detoxification.
  4. Candles
    Candles can be added for atmosphere and make you feel pampered. Colored candles can also have magical benefits. If I am focusing on a specific chakra, I will pick a candle that matches the color of the chakra.
  5. Crystals
    Bring your crystals in your bath with you to infuse the bath with the energy of that crystal. Just make sure to check that it is okay for the crystal to be in the water, any quartz crystal works perfectly.
  6. Music
    Put on your favorite relaxation CD or guided meditation.
  7. Essential Oils
    Add your favorite essential for its therapeutic benefits.


One of my personal favorite baths is my “Self Love Bath”. I add my salts, rose oil, and a rose quartz. You can even give yourself a glass of wine as a special treat! Soak in the bath for 20-30 minutes for maximum healing benefit.
